The Poore Medical Clinic relies on volunteers to provide free, high-quality medical and dental care to our patients. Thanks to our nearly 100 dedicated and selfless volunteers we are able to make a difference in the lives of our patients.

Medical and Dental Volunteers
Our medical and dental clinics are 100% staffed by volunteers and include: physicians, nurse practitioners, physician’s assistants, nurses, medical assistants, dentist, dental hygienist and dental assistants.
All medical and dental volunteers must hold a current Arizona license. We provide on-site medical or dental malpractice coverage for volunteers under the Federal Tort Act. The time commitment is flexible. Volunteers can work as little as four hours once each month.
Non-medical or Dental Volunteers
Clerical Work
Clerical volunteers assist us with answering the phone, preparing charts, making reminder calls and appointments, filing, bulk mailings, computer data entry, general office organization, and other related tasks.
Interpreters
Interpreters translate for our medical and dental professionals, as well as our eligibility screeners.
